I bought one and loved it. I bought two more and loved them. I bought 4 more and I love them all! Replaced all my old worn out booms with these for way cheap! They are perfect and very sturdy. I've used these for many years, and have been very happy with them. When you have to carry your gear on and off stage you appreciate the low weight. They are not nearly as forgiving as the more expensive and heavier Atlas booms: the bushings for the extensions are just nylon (or similar) nubs, but once you learn to keep things tight and not grab the mic and twist or put too much torsional weight on the end, it's never a problem; the plastic T-handle is not a very comfortable thing to use, but it gets the job done.
Eventually, the T-handle won't tighten enough, this, I discovered, is due to brass particle buildup in the threads. Clean the threads of both the handle and the bolt, and it will be as good as new.

Purchased Atlas booms f/my tripods. So far not overwhelmed by the quality. The plastic collars fit loosely, and the clutches are difficult and never seem to be tight enough. Spend the little extra and you might get better results.
