Small and lightweight, Sony's Info-Lithium batteries can be charged or discharged at anytime without developing memory effect. This means they never lose their ability to hold a full charge. They also display remaining battery time on the LCD as well as in the viewfinder by continuously communicating with the camcorder. Info-Lithium battery packs have a built-in micro processor that accurately calculates remaining battery life in minutes.

Works as well as the original. Purchased as the original has been used for over five years and was not holding a charge as long as when new. Now have the consistent in-between charges that had with the original.
