Ulead DVD Workshop 2 is powerful and intuitive authoring software for professional DVD creation. Much of the features were designed with the professional in mind, keeping interfaces simple and straightforward but also providing complex menu navigation, subtitle options and multiple audio tracks with Dolby Digital AC-3 support. Begin your process at the capturing phase, move on to editing, authoring and outputting DVDs--all with one program.
- Transfer From DV to DVD
- Follow the interface as it leads you from capturing, editing, authoring to outputting DVDs. In the Storyboard Layout you can visualize and arrange your entire project before authoring. For short projects, quickly trim and edit during preview to save time and make small corrections without a major time investment. Even slideshows get in the picture and can be dressed up with titles, transitions and audio and then dumped to DVD.
- Playlists
- Buttons can be assigned multiple sequences of movies, menus and chapter points without duplicating assets while saving disc space and giving you creative navigation options.
- Video Tutorial
- The interactive tutorial will guide you through each step of video creation from capturing, to menu design, audio and subtitle enhancements, playlists and finally output to DVD and CD formats. Everything you need to know is clearly spelled out.
- Real-Time Preview
- Preview in real-time and save time by ensuring disc assets and navigation are correctly liked before burning DVDs. Final DVDs can be maximized by adding additional data; include documentation, presentations, images or native assets.
- Innovative Workflow
- Set scenes and chapters manually or automatically. Once your scene is selected work with the integrated tools to achieve the look you want with composited menus, borders, and buttons.
- Extensive Import Options
- Import Photoshop PSD or PhotoImpactÿ UFO files as images or as layers. Also import GIF animations and video clips for eye-catching buttons and backgrounds.
- PowerMenus
- Three levels of menu design are available: Wizard for automated Design, Template for selecting theme-based menus, and Blank for creating menus from scratch. All menu designs are customizable during all stages of the DVD creation process.
- Button Options
- Create unique buttons with a variety of irregular-shaped masks and gradient transparencies. Highlight an activated button by changing color or image. Make buttons invisible or highlight an image when navigated to create Easter Eggs.
- Position
- Using Layout Guides you can position the elements of your production accurately. With Text Effects your text can be placed where desired and can also be shaped with effects such as bevel, 3D and warp.
- Subtitles
- Ulead DVD Workshops supports up to 32 subtitle tracks allowing you to add instructions, language enhancements and personal messages. Subtitle editor lets you customize the text attributes, borders, backgrounds and screen position. Text files can be imported or exported with timecode and attribute information and save large amounts of time when creating subtitle tracks. Language codes are available for different subtitle and audio tracks with default being applied unless instructed otherwise.
- DLT Support
- Record projects to Digital Linear Tape (DLT) for mass duplication or for backing up projects.
- DVD-9 Support
- Double your available project size with dual-layer (DVD-9) support. DVD-9 also provides additional copy protection.
