I read lots of reviews before buying this, because there are so many knock-off brands out there--and it sounds like people have lots of problems with them. This one works great, and I'm using it to display Netflix and Hulu from my iMac in my office to my TV in the living room (long cable!). Looks great, almost as good as watching a DVD. There's a minor keystoning issue at the top of the screen, but I think that may be my old TV and not the adapter.

I use this to connect my macbook to the rca on my old school tv. There is a bit of a noise in the audio that I haven't solved yet but I don't believe this part is involved as it transmits video only. Works just like it's supposed to.

Simply plug into your Mac and out to your TV monitor or whatever you have and it just simply works!
Just as reliable as the Mac system it works from. Works better than built in outputs on other computers such as PC's
No need for configuring anything (unless you want to)
Video limited to what is playing from your computer. (I noticed the video would get stuck from time to time), but the adapter works great.

No downside. Does exactly what it says. Plug one end into your Mac, and then the video cable to your TV. Done. I tried the Dynex adapter first, because the apple adapter was not sold in town. DID NOT WORK. And while I was trying to research what was wrong with the Dynex adapter, I saw most of the reviews said it did not work. Pay the extra 2 dollars for this one.

Purchased for one reason - send video from a Macbook to the TV. Works perfectly. Requires a standard video or S-video cable long enough to reach to your TV. You'll also want a headphone/RCA stereo adapter and dual-RCA cable. My cables are 25 ft. and now we can sit anywhere we like (even lay in bed), watching any TV in the house (even the projector), and watch streaming Netflix, home videos, YouTube, network shows, hulu, etc.
