I use this ink in an Epson R1800 printer. The color is outstanding. I only have clogs when the printer goes for an extended period without being used Even then I've never had one to take more than two automatic cleanings to clear and most of the time it only takes one. Prints made on Epson luster paper will match most any printer Don't bother with third party inks. The color won't be as good and clogging is a real problem.

This product is used to produce prints ranging from 4x6 to 13x19" size on Epson premium media ranging from glossy to luster to matte paper. This product is also used to produce images on printable DVDs.
I have found Epson ink media, including this product, to be generally reliable and uniform in color on rendered prints. However, I have found the ink media to be less than fully reliable because of clogging. Usually one or more purging [cleaning] operations will fully restore, but the most reliable tactic seems to be frequent printing to avoid clogging [printing 2x/week].
I recommend Epson printers/ink and paper media for high quality printing; there may be other excellent choices for equivalent hardware/software, but I have found Epson printing products to produce excellent, predictable output and generally very reliable.
