I use this ink in an Epson R1800 printer. The color is outstanding. I only have clogs when the printer goes for an extended period without being used Even then I've never had one to take more than two automatic cleanings to clear and most of the time it only takes one. Prints made on Epson luster paper will match most any printer Don't bother with third party inks. The color won't be as good and clogging is a real problem.

These inks are for the Epson R1800 printer. They are easy to replace, seem to have a reasonable life span, and deliver really superior color with no metamerism. Once you get the printer and monitor set up with a system such as Monaco EZcolor, the prints are consistent with no drips, runs, etc, even on long runs or large prints.
About the only minus is the need to clean the cartridges if the printer is inactive for a couple of weeks. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
