I use this ink in an Epson R1800 printer. The color is outstanding. I only have clogs when the printer goes for an extended period without being used Even then I've never had one to take more than two automatic cleanings to clear and most of the time it only takes one. Prints made on Epson luster paper will match most any printer Don't bother with third party inks. The color won't be as good and clogging is a real problem.

I print a lot of photos for friends and family. These Epson inks produce great looking and durable prints. Only problem is that the permanent print heads need cleaning from time to time, using up a fair amount of ink. Make it a habit to print at least one photo every week or two.

I use my R1800 for everyday photo printing and Epson cartriges always give reliable results. Why risk less than perfection to save a few dollars? Cartriges cost more, put have never had issues after 100's of photo prints. I always use Epson paper with their ink. Results are outstanding.
