Comments about Canon SC-2000 Camcorder Soft Case:
This case is not made of a heavy cordura nylon. It is thin light weight nylon. It is the perfect size for most users but I would definetly shop around before buying. It is a bit pricy compared to other options.

Canon XA10 carrying case
Light, affordable. I take it everywhere.
Could use more padding.

A very nice case for the Vixia HF S11, shotgun mic, external light, AC adapter, AV cables, extra memory cards, and manuals -- all with room left over.

Comments about Canon SC-2000 Camcorder Soft Case:
This is a pretty good case. It seems VERY large when compared to my camera (VIXIA HF-200), but after jamming accessories, cables, chargers, etc into it, it seems to work very nicely. I like the amount of pouch storage space on the front and sides. It has a sort of raised floor (about 1/2" high) thanks to a rigid, cardboardy sort of platform, that allows you to store stuff underneath it, I suppose. I didn't like the idea of having to take the rest of the items out of the bag to access whatever I stored under there, although I assume it would work fine for items that you accessed very rarely. I instead opted to invert the platform so that there was no space under it, and I could use the full volume of the bag for the main storage space.
I realize my description of the raised floor thing is probably a bit confusing, and I apologize. It's one of those things that, if you saw it, you'd think, "Oh! That was what he was blathering on about!"
I've had this case for about 4 months now, and it's held up pretty well. I've stuffed it in a backpack and kicked the backpack under airline seats a few times, and the case does a great job of protecting its contents. It doesn't have extremely rugged-feeling material, though, so I would imagine that if it were abused regularly, it would probably wear through or tear in some spots.
All-in-all, a good case, I think. Probably not as good as a more pricey case from a case-specific brand (i.e. Tamrac), but still a functional case.

Comments about Canon SC-2000 Camcorder Soft Case:
The case is soft and functional. This is not a bad camcorder case. It works as advertised, and for the casual user it will serve you well. All of that being said, however, I also use the Tamrac 972 case for my other small Canon camcorder. The Tamrac 972 case is similar in size to the SC-2000, but it is superior is every single way. The Tamrac case is far more durable, and better engineered. Spend the extra $25 and buy the Tamrac case. You will be much happier.

Comments about Canon SC-2000 Camcorder Soft Case:
I got this bag because it was recommended for the Canon S10 HD. It serves it purpose well. Can fit the camera and all the accessories I have in the case in an orderly fashion. Convenient pouches for memory cards, remote control. I shoot plain vanilla video of family and wildlife so this makes for a compact setup.

Comments about Canon SC-2000 Camcorder Soft Case:
I use this case for a Canon VIXIA HFS 10 and a few accessories. I really like the trap door bottom which allows me to carry the extra cables and manuals without taking up a side pocket. The only thing I don't like about it is the top doesn't really seal shut completely so it is susceptible to water or something.
