The Beyerdynamic M59S is a dynamic handheld hyper-cardioid microphone designed for general pick up of vocals and instruments. It's linear frequency response reduces low frequency noise and proximity effect. The hyper-cardioid polar pattern provides the highest rejection of off-axis audio signal and noise. The long handle on the M59S lends itself to ENG use and it's reaction to fast transients is particularly useful on percussion, guitar cabinets, horns and other transient rich signals.
