As a professional audio recorder for television I need gear that is reliable and well built. Working with the Canon 5D can be a challenge, especially when one has to rely on a 1/8" mini connector as your input. This Beyerdynamic cable is well built with high quality connectors. I like the 5 pin XLR stereo connector so that I can run just one cable to the camera.

I purchased this cable to connect my Audio-Technica AT825 stereo microphone to my Canon EOS 7D. The cable is well-built and its 5-pin XLR to 3.5mm connection worked very well for my purpose. The length is optimal (not too short not too long) for video camera or camcorder applications and it transmits clean sound with no audible noise or humming in the recorded video. I highly recommend this product for any application which requires on-camera 5-pin XLR to 3.5mm stereo connection.
