The Beyerdynamic DT 48 A.00 audiometric headphones are designed for use in aural-acoustical investigations and measurements by ear, nose and throat specialists, research laboratories, and educational facilities.
The closed-back headphones feature 12 dB of ambient noise attenuation. The matched transducer elements offer a low 5 Ohms of impedance per system, and are selected in pairs to achieve maximum accuracy, with a frequency response deviation of only +/-1 dB.
The supra-aural ear coupling headphones utilizes flat rubber ear caps that are easily identified by their color-coded, left/right-designated covers. All components conform to the currently accepted professional standards, and the cable is supplied bare-ended for application-specific termination.
