Comments about Lightware MF912 Multi Format Case:
My first Lightware case was a MF912, and over the years I have bought several more. The newest version is great. I never liked the zippered front pouch, which is now gone. In its place there is a padded slot that is great for holding a file folder, map, or other papers for easy access. The case is well constructed with well made zippers, and can't be beat for protecting your equipment. The size was perfect for what I wanted - it holds everything I need when shooting sports without needless bulk.

Comments about Lightware MF912 Multi Format Case:
This is my third lightware case so they must be doing something right. This is the smallest of the Multi-Function cases and I use it specifically to store my Nikon DX camera gear, including a D300 Body, 2 lenses, SB 800 Flash, SB 400 Flash, Battery Chargers, Filter Case, Lens Hoods, and miscellaneous cords, spare batteries, and sundry cleaning supplies. Everything fits nicely and I still have a small amount of space for my 60mm Micro or maybe a couple of small teleconverters. The only drawback is the price. These are expensive camera cases but they are extremely well made (in the USA - Colorado to be exact) and built like a tank. For me the quality issue is far more important than the expense; I'm tired of buying stuff from cheaper sources and having it fall apart, rip, or tear in just a few years of normal usage. You will not find a better quality case than Lightware . . period!I like the MF cases because I can access all my gear without having to open a multitude of pockets and lids to find what I need. The padded liners are nice for organizing your gear and protecting it when the case is flat or in the carrying position. It would have been nice to have a small zippered pocket on the lid for my assortment of cables, but I use a stuff sack/plastic bag and it does the trick. If you like carrying your equipment on the plane, this case easily meets the airlines stringent size requirements, but there's not much room for anything else but camera gear; everything else will have to be placed in checked luggage. If you do need to ever check this case, the well padded, built in hard plastic shell is virtually bullet-proof and will easily stand up to any abuse from airline luggage handlers. All in all, I'm a very satisfied customer . . . but take another[$] off the price tag and I would be ecstatic!!
