Manfrotto 522SCA Remote Control Coiled Cable - 9.8" (extends to 19.7")
The Manfrotto 522SCA is an available option for the 322RS electronic shutter release for the 322RC2 grip action ball head, and also a replacement remote control for the 521, 522, & 523 remote controllers. It is a standard coiled subminiphone male (2.5mm) to subminiphone male cable, 9.8" (25 cm) in length normally and expanding to 19.7" (50 cm) when uncoiled.
This is the 'stereo' version of the subminiphone cable; some 2.5mm devices don't need the 'stereo' function of the plug, but it would likely still function normally with them. There are quite a number of various products on the photographic market which employ this 2.5mm subminiphone connection.

I feel these are so much better than the tiny LANC cables that are sold with most zoom controllers. My crew will often pack camera bags and either lose or forget to pack these 3" LANC cables, and it's frustrating. I love these because I can store them in the camera bags and know exactly where they are every time.

Hardly much to review here. I purchased a wireless shutter release, and vivitar didn't supply the right cable for my camera. After talking to their tech support, it was more hassle to try to return the items [...] so I figured out the specs for the cable and purchased this. It works great on my Canon 60D.

When I bought the Zoom Control for DV Cameras by Libec. BH suggested this, I'm glad I got it. The cord gave me that extra length that I needed and it has angled plugs which keep the cords more contoured to the cam and not be easy to bump into and break. For the price you can go wrong!

I use this with my zoom control on a Sony PD150. It works great. I used the coil wire to replace a straight cord that always caught on the tripod. Gets the job done and doesn't affect panning, or tilting.

I am a pro videographer, this Lanc cable is better than the original one...the coils are more loose giving it more play. I am from Canada and usually order online. I went to NYC store and was very disappointed in the staff...I almost BEGGED the salesman to find it for me as he was saying they don't sell them individually. Overall the product was awesome!

I use this to connect a Manfrotto 523PRO LANC Zoom+Focus Controller to a Sony HDR-HC9 camcorder.
It works perfectly. The coiled cable means I don't have loose cabling hanging down and the 2.5mm male plugs plug into the controller and camera exactly the way they should.
