This is a 3' cubelite shooting tent. The Cubelite takes the light tent concept to a fully collapsible softbox for space efficiency and easy transport. The Cubelite sets up in seconds to form a self-contained, completely enclosed shooting environment free of unwanted reflections and shadows.
The Cubelite is made of a durable white diffusion material allowing the subject to be lit from the sides, back, top and, with a suitable light table, the bottom. Use whatever lights you have, or use it outdoors.

I used the cubelite for a series of product shoots, and it worked perfectly for that. It's a great time-saver with post-processing work (or lack thereof).
The cons of this is it that once you get it upright and try to fold it inside the package it is very hard to do so. And if you do it incorrectly, it is a bit of a hassle trying to get it upright. We used 3 yardsticks to keep it up during the shoot, which worked, but still something as functional as this should not require assistance.

Sometimes I have difficulties to open it up to the proper locked position. Probably it needs getting used to. However, overall it's a good, big tent for isolated object shoots.

reasonably solid for consistently stationary studio work. only issue is the cube curves in at the interior seams so the sweep won't lie flat. you have to cut the sweep to be a few inches narrower than the cube.

Comments about Lastolite Cubelite Shooting Tent - 3':
I bought the Cubelite to replace a DIY light tent and have been really happy with the results. Not only is it super easy to set up but it packs away into such a compact disc that it frees up tons of space in the studio when you're not using it. It is deceivingly large when it's open which is both a blessing and a hinderance. You do need space to set it up. At first I couldn't figure out how to break it down but I found a video tutorial on Lastolite's website that made it simple. The nylon gives a nice diffuse light with soft shadows using just one light and the accessory reflector. It seems to be well made and durable. One of the hoop rims got bent when I was moving it but it easily flexed back into shape. The front cover makes taking shots of shiny objects easier as it blocks reflections from outside the tent. I wish there was a zipper in the top as well for taking shots straight down. Overall, I'm really happy with this product and would recommend it for anyone doing product shots of smaller objects.
