The Sticky Pod My Sticky Pod With 1 Knuckle sticks to any smooth surface such as a car, truck or boat, resists jarring bumps and heavy G-forces. Maintains a sure grip, when used with your small digital still or video camera. The knuckle camera mount swivels and tilts, and has a standard 1/4-20 thread for mounting your small video or still camera.
It can be used in the wind on the outside of a car or motorcycle, at speeds of 40 MPH or less. Use it inside your car at any speed. For motorcycle enthusiasts, this is a must. As long as it's behind the windscreen, you can go as fast as you can.
- This camera mount can replace any tripod or monopod and will stick to any car, truck, boat, plane or motorcycle.
- The suction cups are made from a high quality composite rubber, they absorb much of the vibration from a moving vehicle and this makes for clear and stable video.
- The base is constructed from a high grade heavy aluminum and the steel black camera base (small black square) is fastened with steel rivets.

They made screw in cups so that they could be changed out or replaced. Great idea.
A dab of silicone plumbers grease on the cups makes for a great air seal. Don't try on vertical surfaces for your rig may slide off.

I use this system with a Canon 400D SLR + a weighty Sigma 18-50 2.8. I only use it at low speeds, but it holds all the weight very nicely. It's only a bit clumsy to attach/unattached.
