This is a replacement knuckle, or ballhead for the Sticky Pod Camera Mount system. Standard 1/4-20 thread camera mount for small digital or video camera.

I bought a stickypod.com 4 cup mount with extensions and accessories and love it. Only problem was I couldn't get some particular angles I wanted with only one ballhead, so I ordered another one.
They work GREAT, my only complaint is that sometimes under heavy loads / g-forces they do not hold the camera and allow slight twisting to occur. I guess that's what the tethers are for, which I also use - but wrenching it down even tighter (on a few occasions) meant it was near impossible to loosen.
That has been a rare complaint though - overall it's very easy to use and under normal use it holds fine. Using two of these means I'll really be able to get some cool angles with my car videos now.
