Used to "break-up" flat backgrounds by creating an interesting shadow pattern. This handy cut-metal disk is sometimes called a "cookie". Requires either the Complete Barndoor or the Barndoor Frame for mounting.

Comments about Lowel Cookaloris for DP:
The pattern is too small and too regular. I had been using black foil with manual perforations, and hoped the lowel cookaloris would make things faster and easier. But the black foil has superior quality of light. The lowel cookaloris is almost like a coarse scrim. Still, quality build, and no regrets on the purchase due to low cost. At this price, justified in my kit even if only used occasionally.

Attaches fast and easy. Works well. A cookie is a must for the DP light when you want to shake things up with the lighting. Great product no regrets.
