We use these for backyard wildlife viewing. Crisp and clear, one can see animals up close. I can hand hold them pretty well but they provide a stunning view with my tripod. The Nikon Action Extreme ATB line seem as good or better than the $1000+ models I tried. The binocular comes with a $25 B&H gift card too. B&H is tops!

I bought product for general use. Five days after purchase I went to oregon coast for vacation and was sble to use binoculars on elk, whales, general viewing and numerous other uses. I loaned binoculars several times for other's to view whales, and with out exception we all agreed the binoculars were exceptional in clarity, brightness, and ease of use. Met and exceeded all expectations. The price from B&H was the best I could find and was unexpected for the quality of the product!!!!!

My wife and I bought these to get up close and personal with the wildlife on our property. The weight is comfortable for my wife. The only complaint she has is that her lasik monovision makes it difficult to focus the lenses. These binoculars are not good for close up (birds from 15' away)viewing so keep that in mind. I, on the other hand, don't have the vision restrictions and really like these.

Unbelievable image quality! Excellent for bird watching and any general use. Very nice and rugged... I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed by quality of the image! Performs almost as well as the much higher end and higher priced binoculars!

We just got the Nikon ATB ExExtreme Binocular for my husband to use in his hunting trips. He loves them and so pleased with the fogproof/waterproof features. He said the lens cover attaches to the strap and that helps him not to lose the cover.!! He is so pleased with all the features and the distance he said is great. He really like the more wider view of the 12 over the 10..He is a happy hunter now..!!! Just wish the caps on the front lens would attach to something to keep from losing them..!! For the price..this is great..would buy again..!!

I really like its sharp and clear wide views for naked eye and eye glasses both.
I bought this instead of 16x50CF because it has Aspherial eyepice lens(7x50CF, 12x50CF only).
It gives more bright details and convienent even at dark night time.
There is no cons so far.

Spectacularly high resolution lenses are crucial for large blow-ups of photographs. For binoculars, what you want is "good-enough" resolution, and these Nikon binoculars are quite good enough.
Also, they're exceptionally easy to use with glasses. In fact, these are the first binoculars I've owned that actually allow me to have true binocular vision. Their accommodation to eyeglass-wearers is spot-on.
I paid rather little for these, so I cannot understand why anyone would pay a thousand bucks for higher quality that the human eye cannot discern.
I almost ordered the 16X50, and I'm glad I didn't, for I can "just" manage to hold these 12X50 steady. I've got to believe you need a tripod for 16X50.
Nikon is golden, but so is B&H. I've never had a bad experience with B&H, and I actually learn from their e-mails. They're honest, reliable, competitively priced, and eager--the very best mail-order house I've ever known.

I have used these mostly for nature watching. I have found them to be great for glasses. The images are always sharp and match well with the overall field of view. They have provided me with great stability as well and are easy to focus. They are a little bit heavy for backpacking but the durablity easily makes up for that.

I did extensive research before buying this product, and i truly believe its a very good product and is of exceptional value for what it costs. The images are crystal clear even in low light situations, and feels just right in my hands.

I use it for general observations, during treks and sky gazing. I brought the product from B&H and it was a very good experience doing business with B&H.

The only thing i don't like is the peel on caps, feels a little cheap and cumbersome...otherwise its a great product at a great price!

I am a volunteer of the National Park Service and use them all the time. The magnification and angle of view are great, I wear bifocals. The non skid surface is also good. At this point I have no complaint.

Purchased for my father so he can watch the ducks and eagles on the lake. Fantastic clarity and easy to use. Like the covering on the binoculars so they were not slippery and they are waterproof which is helpful if he goes outside to watch. The fact that the strap connects all the lens covers so you don't drop them is great too. Great product!

I bought this for my father as a gift. I'm a professional photographer and wanted to get something really great for his casual use from his deck watching wildlife. I considered the Canon stabilizer but was blown away by the power and clarity of these 12x50. I viewed the 3/4 moon today and could see the finest detail of all the craters and surface. Terrific value and I couldn't get anywhere close to the power without spending close to $1,000 with the Canon (love to own the Canon too). I'll be buying a pair for my boating and more moon watching. What a marvel!.

These Nikons are excellent and Nikon isnt joking about the lifetime warrentee. The only issue is that Binocs' with this much magnification require very steady hands or a tripod.

These binoculars are awesome. I bought them for my boyfriend and he has hardly put them down. They are great and easy for both of us to use. Some binoculars don't fit either of our faces very well but with the adjusting eye peice these work wonders for us both! I would recommend this product to anyone I know looking for binoculars!
