I had the previous generation of the "Little BigHorn" for about 8 years in my woodshop classroom. It's been dropped numerous times on concrete, taken to several camping and paintball expeditions, and it's never given me a problem. I think I've only replaced the batteries one time in 8 years. I finally had to replace it when a student broke the trigger off. So far, the new one seems just as sturdy as the previous gen.

After putting two sets of batteries in the little big horn I was amazed at how quickly it broke down without beingt used. The siren would work and the amplifier would NOT.
