Comments about JVC TMH150CGU 15" Color Production Monitor:
I transfer home movie film to DVD and require a monitor with under scan to check my camera alignment with the telecine transfer device. I need to see the entire image. This monitor is a replacement for an old used one. Besides the under scan feature, the picture quality is excellent. DVDs look clean and noise free, just like in a TV studio. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the lack of a component input without paying for an expensive card. I believe a component input should have been standard. My $170 Sony Trinitron TV has this feature.

Comments about JVC TMH150CGU 15" Color Production Monitor:
It is very good for studio/home office use. Just be aware that if you want component or SDI, it's another chunk of change for the card. It is "WAAYY" better than my junky TV monitor. Definitely a step up.

Great, relatively inexpensive help with video color correction. Very old-fashioned and heavy but it works great.

Comments about JVC TMH150CGU 15" Color Production Monitor:
I needed a simple and inexpensive monitor to judge colors on while editing video for some instructional DVDs I produce. This is my first true "production monitor", and fits the needs of my very low cost productions, and works MUCH better than the dual LCD screens I use on my computer. I feed video from Sony Vegas through my PD170 camera, via firewire, and use the S-Video output of the camera to connect to the monitor.
Just getting started with this, but seems to work just fine so far. No problems, and the colors appear to be accurate.

Comments about JVC TMH150CGU 15" Color Production Monitor:
I took the plunge and picked up a quality video monitor for doing my editing on, mostly for good color representation during grading, and am very happy with the results. No longer do I have projects that look one way while I'm editing them, and then another when they are exported and burned to DVD for showing. I say a big "Woo Hoo" to that!
It was hard to convince myself to spend the money, but after hearing so many editing mentors say it was a must, I was glad there is a monitor as nice as this JVC for relatively low price.

Comments about JVC TMH150CGU 15" Color Production Monitor:
I feel as though I just put on eye glasses and can finally see. I have a small home business, using FCP for documentaries and promotional programs. Have wanted a monitor for many years and decided to buy this (friend recommended). It is very helpful and does the trick, for sure. It was easy to plug in and "go" with. The colors are great--I'll be confident with my color correction process.
