Comments about K-Tek KE-89 Avalon Series Aluminum Boompole (Uncabled):

On run-and-gun shoots is where the weakness of this product is exposed. It is overall a solid piece of equipment that does what you ask of it, but it can be tricky to get the right grip to rotate so you can loosen/tighten and therefore extend/retract quickly as you are adjusting between quick takes or setup changes.

Not that big a deal unless things are moving very quickly, which for me they often are.

Nice piece of gear for the price, although it is sometimes difficult to lock the segments because they all turn simultaneously.
