Comments about Celestron C65 Mini Mak 2.6"/65mm Spotting Scope Kit:
Pros: Came with its own stand and carry bag
Very cheap, compact.
Cons: Stand made of very brittle plastic, cracks easily, but mendable with superglue. Lens cap is even cheaper plastic and falls off quite easily.
You get what you pay for, but this little unit does a reasonable job of what I wanted it for, to see further at 5x to 10x magnification. Needs a lot of light though.

Comments about Celestron C65 Mini Mak 2.6"/65mm Spotting Scope Kit:
for birding this scope is an excellent entry level item for the cost. it is light weight, easy to use, can be used on a car window, or with a digiscope kit. when walking trails with my cameras, binoculars etc I do not hesitate to pack this useful item since it pulls its weight as a vital addition to birding in the field or backyard. even after you move up to a more costly scope the C65 wil have a useful place in your scoping needs, and is well worth the money.
