Comments about Merit Line Glossy Insert for DVD Case - 50 Sheets:
The quality of these inserts are great! I needed slim dvd inserts, but these were fine. I just have to slice the edge about an inch.

Comments about Merit Line Glossy Insert for DVD Case - 50 Sheets:
These sheets are pretty good and give a better saturation than my matte set from Avery. There are a few areas where you have to be pretty careful when tearing the perforation off. Other than that, they work pretty well!

Comments about Merit Line Glossy Insert for DVD Case - 50 Sheets:
I have been using the "Meritline Glossy" DVD case insert for over 7 years. Hobby requires a minimum of 100/month. I have tried many other major brands. Image quality is superior to all and B&H price is best of at least a dozen vendors. However, in the past year the quality of the perforations has deteriorated across the board. Some runs have indiscernible perforations causing the edges to fray

Comments about Merit Line Glossy Insert for DVD Case - 50 Sheets:
This is a must for the videographer who wants to present his customers with a professional service. These glossy sheets work great with my hp inkjet printer. I have been using these sheets for several months and customers are impressed with the quality of the DVD labels and photos on the case. The perforations make it easy for users to remove unwanted paper to fit standard DVD cases

Comments about Merit Line Glossy Insert for DVD Case - 50 Sheets:
Would be nice for the price but the edges are all different measurements and very difficult to cut without making it look tacky. Not very professional at all.
Comments about Merit Line Glossy Insert for DVD Case - 50 Sheets:
Pre-perforated paper is a great idea and could be a time-saver, but this product does not fill the bill. I have quite a bit of experience with this product as I have printed more than 200 of these in the last 15 months. I have two primary issues with this product.
First, and most importantly, the quality of the perforations is very spotty and there are several issues. Some perforations can be quite complete and will work well, but most of the time they are not perforated enough to tear off cleanly until one folds the perfs repeatedly. This is a huge time sink. Occasionally, the perforations are not strong enough and I've had to resort to scissors.
There are also issues with the positioning of the perforations on the paper which are not consistent from sheet to sheet which cause off center printing. More annoyingly is that the occasional sheet has perforations that are not square to the paper which can ruin an entire print sheet. This can get expensive when you factor in ink cost for a wasted full color DVD label.
Once my supply is depleted, I'm going with regular photo paper and a quality paper cutter.

Comments about Merit Line Glossy Insert for DVD Case - 50 Sheets:
I use the inserts with my Epson Stylus Photo R220 printer; I use Discus 4 from Magic Mouse to design DVD covers on a Mac computer. Standard DVD inserts come out great, the main benefit for me is that I do not have to use a paper cutter or trimmer - just break off extra paper at perforation and you are good to go! The image quality is also very good.
The result was not so great when I tried to print a slim DVD insert. My printer pulled in the Meritline sheet askew and the picture printed not quite at right angles. Now I have to use my old cutter to correct this. So if your printer is prone to pulling paper sheets by one corner, beware! I think I will stick to regular DVD inserts - even if they come out of my printer a bit skewed, the printed area expands beyond the perforation lines and my clients are not going to notice.
