I've only used this battery twice. It seems to be a good battery. I've always had better luck with Canon brand batteries. Far better than than after market brands. More expensive, but worth it. Lasts about twice as long as other brands made for Canon.

This product is used with q ZR 960 mini-DV camcorder. The camcorder is used in conjunction with my Dell computer and Dartfish software. The battery enables me to set up the camera quickly without having to deal with a bunch of cords.

Battery that comes with unit would need to be recharged too frequently; it is better as a backup.

This battery is great. It lasts for a long time and I don't need to worry about the battery at all while filming. Additionally, it doesn't take a long time to charge. I definitely recommend this product.

I really dislike missing a shot for lack of a battery. I always assume batteries will last half as long as advertised, charge all my batteries right before a shoot and carry more extra batteries than I can use if the shoot goes twice as long as expected. Of course, one challenge, particularly when traveling, is finding enough outlets to recharge batteries for cell phones, laptop computer, camcorders, DSLR, pocket digital camera and everything else that runs on batteries.

I took a class recently. On the last day, one of the other students and I agreed to take some pictures of each another doing our presentations. I shot about eighty pictures of her with my little Panasonic Lumix from different angles, with and without flash, doing different activities, wide and close-up. These were still images, but the concept applies. When it came her turn to shoot me I offered my camera, but she was more comfortable with her little Kodak manufactured at the dawn of digital photography. She managed to click off three or four images of less than exemplary technical quality before her battery died.

These little disappointments are the reason I'm obsessive about spare batteries. I think they're grossly overpriced, particularly on the more expensive cameras which shouldn't need more expensive batteries. But I've had a couple of disappointments with off-brand batteries. It's a small price to pay for not missing the shot.

I used the battery pack in my video camera to take pictures of rehearsals for the South Philadelphia String band. I also used the camera all day long taking videos of my documentary about the Mummers. The battery pack lasted all day long. I did not have to concern myself with changing the battery in the middle of a scene. It saved me a lot of aggrevation

Haven't used it much, but it has a little more capacity than stock battery and so lasts a little longer. For extended recording time, I would recommend considering the larger battery by Canon.

This battery holds it's charge. In morning when it is cold battery will lose some charge but what's left in charge will allow shooting for the rest of tape and some of another one. I recommend this battery highly. Even though I use the camcorder in auto I do a lot better with a DSLR and know more about them.

This battery lasted longer than the Impact one of the same model I also use. So for just a few dollars more you get a higher quality and the name brand.
