Comments about Tamrac 5371 Travel Pack 71 Backpack (Blue):
This is the second one of these I've owned. My first one was a gift and was stolen after about 18 months of use. It looked as good the day it was stolen as the day I bought it. I love the fact that you can configure the velcro dividers. The velcro is strong and never moves and the padding is nice and thick. The pockets are great for the small stuff. I can fit much more than I need in this single bag. The only complaint I have is that the outside zipper is a little harder to use than average because it is so well protected from the rain by its intentionally generous flap. The only other downside is that you need to lay it flat when taking the camera out or your other stuff can fall out. When replacing my stolen bag, I looked at a lot of other bags to see if I could find something I liked better, but nothing compared to the nice small size, good padding and configurable compartments. They have obviously put a lot of thought in to the bag.

This backpack is exactly the right size for my needs. It holds my camera with my zoom lens as well as my extra lens. It also holds my older and smaller cameras for the kids use. The straps are very comfortable and it fits nicely - doesn't feel too bulky or weigh me down. I am quite pleased with this pack. It does take a couple extra minutes to get the camera out of the bag so that's something to prepare for so that you don't miss that quick shot.

I use this bag for my Canon digital SLR. It is on the small side- I can fit the camera and one large lense with maybe one small compartment left over. This bag is perfect for the trek in the woods where you dont want to carry the big bag! I have an older Tamrac bag that has held up over the years. I had to make a decision to remove my old film camera from the other bag or purchase another bag. The quality from the old bag to the newer bag has remained constant!!! It will last a long time!

everything I need fits in...with some extra room for non-photo essentials like keys/wallet. Great for photo walks, and strolling around - comfortable and well padded.

This camera bag was a lot smaller than I expected it to be. I was able to fit a telephoto lens and some extra equipment along with my camera and still have some room. It is light weight and easy to carry. The zipper will take getting used to, as it needs to be broke in and sometimes get stuck on edge. Its a nice little bag.

The backpack is comfortable and well padded to protect gear. It has a number of different pockets and zippers to hold everything in place. It's been great for hiking and trails where you want more protection for less convenience compared to a shoulder bag.
It fits my Oly E520, 14-54, 40-150, and bits and pieces well. However, It would start to get real snug with bigger lenses. I don't think this would hold a full-frame body well.

My camera is with me at all times and a backpack style bag is a must for me. But, I didn't want a large, bulky bag. I've been looking at bags for a year now and this bag is just the right size for me to put my camera, batteries, memory cards, etc. along with personal items I might need if I don't want to also carry a purse. I love the zipper mesh pockets inside the bag because my accessories are secure but visible and easy to get to. I also like that it is a smaller size and not so conspicuous to carry around and with the backpack style, I'm hands free. The sling styles seemed very awkward to me. If there is a downside to the bag for me, it is that the straps are too padded and are more bulky than I would like but they do make it comfortable to wear. The only other thing is that the zipper covers make the bag a little hard to get in to, especially if you are in a hurry.

This bag is the perfect size for my gear. I can put my SLR and 2 lenses, as well as charging cords. There is still room left and it's super comfortable to carry- not too big, not too small!

Good size, holds my kit lens, an extra long telephoto lens, and the tamron 70-200 lens that is attached to the camara body without much extra room. I could use a little more room for batteries and my charger, but it holds the basic necessities.

I love this bag. I wasn't happy with the way things fit in this bag but I feel that was my fault because I had more than what this bag was made for. But it is still a great bag. Would recomend it for someone who didn't have as much as I do.

Wanted a good case to carry Nikon 40x or D200 with 18-70 or 18-200 plus 70-300 VR lenses plus Nikon SB400 and all accessories. Wanted "Hands-Free" backpack ability or conventional carry.
Needed extra area for batteries, cards, filters, etc.
