The Behringer ULTRAGRAPH PRO FBQ1502 is a professional, ultra-musical 15-band stereo graphic equalizer that is equally at home in both live and studio applications. It features the FBQ Feedback Detection System that instantly detects feedback frequencies and can also be used as an audio analyzer, making the unit a welcome addition to any touring rack.
An additional low cut filter removes unwanted frequencies such as floor rumble, while a highly accurate 4-digit LED output metering and input gain control allows one to easily adjust levels. The ULTRAGRAPH PRO FBQ1502 provides servo balance inputs and outputs with 1/4" TRS and gold-plated XLR connectors, high-quality illuminated faders, detent ALPS potentiometers and illuminated switches.

General EQ use in the studio.
Looks good & pro. Sounds very nice, doesn't "add" too much, very transparent (musical), very versatile.
Just love the visual effect when the FBQ is on, though it makes the whole thing look like a gadget... still, love it!

Comments about Behringer ULTRAGRAPH PRO FBQ1502 Graphic Equalizer:
This is used in a studio environment, via channel inserts, but will likely use it live as well, direct.
In the studio I used it to sweeten a two-channel elec drum signal, and it helped tremendously in getting better overall sound for the drums.
At this price point, it would make sense to buy another and use it for lead-vox and/or guitar.
Very good product!

Send the signal into a background music system that was lacking high's and low's. Client was "extremely happy" and now understands how music should sound. Great value for the money!

Pretty good sound. Great price/function. I already own one and liked it so much I got another. Only thing that went out was one of the slider LED's.

Comments about Behringer ULTRAGRAPH PRO FBQ1502 Graphic Equalizer:
Not being all that familiar with graphic eq's, I was really surprised at the difference this little piece of equipment made in the quality of the music. I have an Ibanez GE 3100, the FBQ 1502 beats it hands down. I [...] took it out the box, and went right to work. The lights are kinda cool, too.

Comments about Behringer ULTRAGRAPH PRO FBQ1502 Graphic Equalizer:
My application for the FBQ1502 is for two stage monitor mixes. Fifteen bands is sufficent for pulling out unwanted frequencies while still providing the performer with plenty of reference. The feedback elimination system is very useful and accurate as I checked it with EQ monitoring software. The versatility in featuring both TRS and XLR ins and outs is great, and the bypass is an unexpected bonus on such an affordable unit! I really like that it takes up only one unit of rack space while providing two channels of EQ.

Comments about Behringer ULTRAGRAPH PRO FBQ1502 Graphic Equalizer:
I was very concerned with the low price and reputation of Behringer to be "cheap". But I am just using the EQ between my Alesis mixer and a pair of Mackie SRM350s. It does the job and seems to be quiet enough for my needs. And I like the FBQ feature that lights up the EQ faders that are closest to the feedback frequencies. Makes it quick and easy to correct. The construction seems to be OK but the sliders and pots feel pretty cheap and probably need some good rack protection. I'm just using a cheap rack bag but it seems to be OK. I haven't used it for long enough to get a sense of it's roadworthiness, but so far I'm happy.
