Comments about Lowel Full Pole - 3-5' (0.9-1.5 m):
I got two. The description is misleading as it states "twist-lock mechanisms" and I took this that you twist it and it locks the pole at the length you have it as. Not the case. It has twist locks where it locks to the pole. Nothing more than a screw with a knob just like on the tripod itself. It's still sturdy though and exactly what I needed.

designed a long long time ago but still very useful today. for something this simple from extending the height of a light stand to adding a cutter this does the trick, and did i say light weight. woohoo

Comments about Lowel Full Pole - 3-5' (0.9-1.5 m):
I bought two Full Poles because I needed a background support system that I could travel with easily in these times of awful airports and airlines. Set between two light stands they can expand to 12 feet, and then the whole shebang collapses into my light kit. They also come in handy in those rare occasions when you need to get a light up really high, like six feet more than the light stand itself..

Very good light weight pole - well made design, easy to use and will last a long time. I will buy more when I need them.
Comments about Lowel Full Pole - 3-5' (0.9-1.5 m):
I have 8 of these - and 3 short ones - their uses are limitless, they are stiff and strong, cool colour, nice big knobs. All the little issues have been worked out. The lowel straight up and down 5/8 attachment is much better than the manfrotto indented one - both stronger (larger diameter) and quicker to unscrew from.
