Behringer, as a company, manufactures a wide variety of audio products characterized by a feature-rich design set, cleverly engineered incorporation of existing technologies, and surprising affordability. The Behringer TRUTH B2030A speakers, a pair of bi-amplified 2-way studio monitors representing Behringer's foray into that very competitive market, are a logical outgrowth of this design philosophy.
The 1" tweeter and 6.75" woofer are housed in a sturdy, purportedly vibration-resistant cabinet, and powered by a 75 and 150 watt amplifier, respectively. The input connectors are balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS, and the magnetic speaker shielding we've come to expect has been provided.
The documentation for the TRUTH B2030A speakers emphasizes their inherent linearity of frequency response and the neutrality of the playback experience, meant to decrease listener fatigue and increase the area of the elusive "sweet spot". However, if the neutral listening experience is not for you, or if the sound of your control room is less than desirable, Behringer has generously included a cockpit's worth of rear-panel frequency control switches enabling the user to tune the speakers to the environment or simply to taste.

Comments about Behringer TRUTH B2030A Active 2-Way Reference Studio Monitor (Pair):
I have had these for about a year and so far I have had no problems with them. Great for a small room and have good bass. Not good with very low frequencies, recommended to buy a subwoofer.

Comments about Behringer TRUTH B2030A Active 2-Way Reference Studio Monitor (Pair):
The Behringer monitors offer all of the high-end features for a low-end price. They came packaged very nicely, with all the necessary manuals, warranty info, etc. Upon initial inspection and setup, the monitors seem to be built very solidly. The only problem, if you can call it a problem, is their size. If you're looking for a small package that can fit in a nice tight spot, this may not be for you. They're not super huge, but I definitely had to make some room for them.
Soundwise, these monitors seem to offer the TRUTH. If your mix sounds like poo, then these speakers will let you know. Stereo field is okay if you're really close, although it tends to get narrow quick if you back up. Take the time to adjust the settings on the back to take care of any low frequency or room issues that you may have in your listening area. Otherwise, these monitors are loud and clear with decent bass and crisp highs. Very nice for the price.

Comments about Behringer TRUTH B2030A Active 2-Way Reference Studio Monitor (Pair):
This is my second pair of monitors I have owned, the others being JBL Pro's. Comparatively, these Behringers are better performers and have a more solid feel than the JBL's. The room I use these in is small and these monitors could easily overpower the room. I have been very pleased with the representation provided and I feel they have a more even-keeled response than any other monitor I have been exposed to at this price point.
I have recommended these monitors to a number of people and they have all been pleased.

Comments about Behringer TRUTH B2030A Active 2-Way Reference Studio Monitor (Pair):
These monitors are much better then I expected them to be. Their small size makes them great for small bedroom/home studios or even just for listening to music. The bass response is very good, even without a sub which was surprising. Very good stereo spread as well, everything sounds very well defined. Overall the monitors are a great buy and perfect for small studios.
