The Behringer Truth B2030P is a pair of very inexpensive, magnetically shielded, passive 2-way studio monitors, featuring a 6.75" woofer and a .75" ferro-fluid cooled tweeter housed in a damped, MDF designed enclosure.
The unique B2030P wave guide technology, and low-distortion crossover network, produce a linear phase response with consistent sound dispersion and reliable stereo imaging. The speaker's flat, linear frequency response from 75 Hz to 21 kHz makes for a neutral listening experience, useful for conventional stereo mixing and for integration in multi-channel monitoring systems with dedicated subwoofers, ranging from 2+1 systems to 7.1 surround systems.
The B2030P combines reliability with a trendy design, and is a worthy competitor as a low-cost playback monitoring alternative for the project recording studio or event videography post-production environments.

Comments about Behringer B2030P - 2-Way Passive Studio Monitors - Pair:
I am by no means an expert but the sound quality from this small speakers more than meets my requirements. I also use very well recorded Porcupine Tree work to judge my audio gear and these speakers passed the test with flying colors. Only weakness I've detected so far are the style of the binding posts themselves.

Comments about Behringer B2030P - 2-Way Passive Studio Monitors - Pair:
I have owned these speakers for about a month. I use them daily to listen to classical, folk, rock, world, and popular music. My classical music includes orchestral, solo, chamber, and voice. I use solid audio components.
Setup was simple. Provided information is complete.
Comparing these speakers to my Klipsch Heresy speakers (which are in a larger room), the Behringer sound is remarkably clean and accurate, with excellent imaging. The highs and mid-tones are superb. The base is beautifully smooth, though less prominent than the Klipsch. But I believe Berhinger's may be a more accurate representation of a live classical performance .
I strongly recommend these speakers for mid-size rooms. They provide remarkable quality for the cost.

I gave these speakers to my boyfriend and he loves them. The sound is crisp and clean. Turn em up even a little bit and your eardrums will blow out. The bass is incredible. They're technically bookshelf speakers but they're sort of heavy to move or lug around. Your best bet for a beginning sound junkie.

Comments about Behringer B2030P - 2-Way Passive Studio Monitors - Pair:
I have 3 of these connected to an old Pioneer receiver and backed by a decent sub I use them for audiophile level computer speakers. The near field design makes them outstanding for that job.
Pro:
Great up close and from a distance
Flat frequency response from 80-20,000hz
Con:
The needs a sub but that's to be expected
Some production shortcuts keep them from being perfect - but a member at on the Audioholics forum came up with some quick and dirt cheap mods that fix those minor issues and make them totally rock.
These are great not just for the studio but also for home audio and will do fine as an apartment sized 5.1 system when backed by a decent sized sub.

These were a great price, and sound so much better than our original speakers, that were supposed to be top-of-the-line. Highly recommended.

These speakers replaced an old set of Mirage 150 speakers. Although they lack the base response of the 150 speakers, they do provide clean and crisp response with almost no distortion.
