The Neo Pod 6 is a professional 4-section monopod. Made out of carbon fiber material, this pod is ultra-light, more durable than aluminum, and fulfills all monopod needs.
- The included Monopod Pocket attaches to a belt, which allows the monopod to be supported and stabilized
- Neoprene padding on the upper leg section is helpful in cold or damp weather, and provides protection against scratches
- Large rubber twist locks make it easier to extend and contract the leg sections

The monopod collapses to a small size and is easy to pack for air travel.
There are no downsides to to the Velbon monopod. It is everything I wanted in a monopod.

It's light and well designed. I especially like the rubber twist leg locks for easy, quick height adjustments, more so than the flip lock type that I used for years. Having a shoulder strap is convenient too.
