Hakuba QB-6E Quick Release Plate for S-6000, S-4500 & S-3500 Tripods
The Hakuba QB-6E Quick Release Plate for S-6000, S-4500 & S-3500 fits the integrated heads of the Hakuba S-6000, S-4500 and S-3500 model tripods and enables quick removal of a camera from the tripod. This is a replacement part for those models, or it can serve as the dedicated plate for an additional camera for quick switching between two or more cameras.
The QB-6E plate features a standard 1/4"-20 stud to fit most cameras, and an integrated video pin to provide additional stability for small camcorders.

This is your basic quick release plate, but what makes this so effective is the durability of the product. Where other plastics might fail, this plate gives a rigid base for your device and releases cleanly when you need to pull your device from the tripod in a snap. The texturized surface is also good for providing an added level of security when in use or if you're transporting your tripod with equipment on the stand.

I bought this item to use with my samsonite 2601 tripod and it fits great! The top part where the camera sits measures about 51mm wide by 61 mm front to back. The part that fits into the tripod measures about 41mm square. An added bonus is that you can press the stablizer pin (not the screw, the other metal thing) down if it gets in the way of your camera.

Over all good product. The thumb screw isn't so well thought out ... doesn't snap to open/closed, and falls open when placing on the tirpod.
