The Tota Tilter is a great little thing to have. I use them for mounting my LitePanels on light stands. Also great for small flashes, Lightflectors, or props. I'm sure there are uses that you might be able to come up with too.
I keep a couple in my kit for small lights & things.
It has mounts for 2 Flexi-Shafts, so you can use light shaping tools. Great for table tops.
Lowell gear seems cheap, but the mice thing about it is it's simplicity and robustness. Often, a trip to the hardware store is all you need to fix, or replace parts. Great for travel.

As far as I can tell, this is the same as the Zylight tilting stand adapter. Works great for that purpose.
