This little guy lacks some stability with the big camera's but with a careful hand can really help get some great shots without the need for a big cumbersome tripod. I recently setup at the beach after dinner to capture a full moon through the clouds and put my new D5000 through it's paces. With a block of timber for a base this made for easy work pointing to the moon.
