I have 2 Sony Alpha bodies (A700, A55V), meaning I use two different card formats (CF, SDHC) and 2 different batteries. For a day-trip that's no problem, but for a few days/weeks photo trip, that can mean lots of memory cards and batteries. The DMC-Z is an ideal tool for making sure I have the right items matched to the right bodies and with me.
For the A55, the SDHC (or Sony Pro Duo MS) fit without a problem into the 6 slots and an FM-50 can fit into the battery compartment (which can alternatively handle 4 AA, AAAs, etc. By turning the memory card face up or down, I can separate full cards from empty cards. One DMC can handle it all for that camera.
For the A700, I have to take the CF cards out of their plastic cases and the fit is tighter, but I can still carry a battery and at least 4 memory cards in a single DMC-Z. I can get 6 memory cards in, but then the battery becomes questionable, as the CFs start to bend around the curved battery shape.
As noted, the DMC can attach as an external pouch to Lowepro bags or any bag or belt that uses the SlipLock belt loop system. In a pinch, you can use this to attach it around your camera strap.
Wishes: I wish it were just a bit bigger, so I could keep the CF cards in their cases and the fit were not so tight.
I now have 4 of these cases and find them indispensible. Don't know what I'd do without them.

DMC-z Slim memory pouch by Lowepro
I use this to hold compact flash cards. It does hold my CF cards. I had hoped to load them inside their individual plastic cases, but that is not possible.

After misplacing international phone SIM cards, traveling with spare memory cards and batteries, this pouch solved my problem! All items are in one place, and the pouch is secure and impact resistant. A very useful, reasonably priced product which I highly recommend.

Love this memory case storing all my CF card and most of all it protects your memory card from damage of lost. Perfectly fits all my CF and best An additional pocket hold for business cards and you hang this case in your camera bag side with the velcro. Will get another one soon as my CF card accumulated. And I trust lowepro brand which all my camera bag and lens case are made from lowepro brand.

Comments about Lowepro DMC-Z Compact Slim Digital Memory Pouch:
I gave this product 4 stars because it's almost perfect. It lost a star with me because it is slightly too compact. CF cards fit, just barely. Please note that CF cards must be inserted WITHOUT their protective little plastic cases. With plastic cases there is no way to fit six CF cards and zip it shut.
The construction is perfect, zipper works great, it's made from that stretchy neoprene and will last a lifetime.
One reason I really like this zipper case is because it is a ZIPPER case. That means it is quiet when you open it to retrieve your next card. When I'm shooting a wedding ceremony in a hushed church, ripping open a velcro case is much too noisy. This case is near silent - just what I needed!
I am a pro photographer, not a videographer. However, that choice was not available on this form for this product's review.

Comments about Lowepro DMC-Z Compact Slim Digital Memory Pouch:
This is the 3rd pouch of this type I have tried and the first one that I can use and leave the cards in the plastic protecters they came in. This is a big plus as it reduces the risk of anything getting inside the card connections.
I will be buying more of these.

I like them so much, I own 2! Most card holders are bulky and don't hold many cards. This guy fits right into my back pocket.

Comments about Lowepro DMC-Z Compact Slim Digital Memory Pouch:
I'm happy with the pouch with my only qualm being that it doesn't hold enough cards... 2-4 more slots would be ideal.
I like the extra large velcro belt loop so that I don't have to remove my belt to use the pouch. The velcro has proven plenty strong enough and hasn't come loose at all.

Definitely recommend this item, its very convenient on weddings and events, you can store all your cards here, although sometimes its hard to see the card because of each compartment cover, but its no big deal.It will fit any bag or case, also your pocket or you might as well use it on your belt.[...]

Comments about Lowepro DMC-Z Compact Slim Digital Memory Pouch:
It's very sturdy, the velcro strap on the back is nice. Holds plenty of cards. It's tough to see the cards themselves though because the way the pockets are constructed - they obscure the cards. I like to keep empty cards with the labels out and the used cards with the label hidden (turned around). It's almost impossible to do that with this case.

This is my second memory pouch of this kind. I think it's well made and will last long. Even though I wish it was easier to get the cards out of it (CF cards tend to be a little harder to get out)
it was the best option from all the ones I reviewed. and I am very retentive when I review.
