The Adapter Plate AP113 from Coronado is designed to mount a SolarMax 40 filter to a Celestron ST80 or Orion ST-80 / VX80 telescopes.
SolarMax filters are not stand-alone devices; they must be used in conjunction with a secondary interference/blocking filter. The SolarMax 40 filter can be purchased in a kit that includes the correct blocking filter for your telescope's focal length.
