Manfrotto 038 Double Super Clamp
The Manfrotto 038 Double Super Clamp is a unit of two Super Clamps made of lightweight cast alloy, fastened together at a 90° angle. Clamps on tubes: 1/2 to 2-1/8 inches in diameter. Perfect for holding a background crossbar on an AutoPole.
Complete with 4 wedge inserts for flat surfaces (2915W).

This is an easy to operate double clamp. I bought it for use with a monopod to secure it to a railing and it works great. The safety lock button for the attachments is also a nice feature.

I would give it 5 stars if it came with the double headed spigot build-in (B&H # MA013). I have purchased this in the past & it always came with the spigot along with 2 screws to increase the durability. I was surprised it didn't come with the unit so I hesitated to put anything heavy as I would normally do. I ended-up to purchase the spigots before I use the unit. Our photo gears are expensive enough to take any un-necessary risk with only 2 little screws to mount both clamps together.

I used 2 of these in combination with a heavy duty speaker stand to hold up a heavy demonstration board for a show. I am glad I knew about them from photography. It worked out perfectly.
