After purchasing a light weight head and legs (701RC2) for International event work (missions) I discovered my remote control (523Pro LANC) bar was too big for the new head. B&H had just the right thing with this inexpensive adaptor that pops into the body of the 523 and is cut just right for the 701 head. A quick change back and the remote is ready for my 503 head.
