The J-30 is a video tape playback machine for the entire range of Betacam-derived ½-inch formats. Those formats include Betacam, Beta SP, Beta SX, MPEG/IMX and Digital Betacam. The tape player works with both NTSC and PAL recorded material. To fit into any modern or existing edit suite the unit outputs iLink (which is Sony's version of FireWire) along with analog component video for very stable Beta SP import quality.
