The Sony BRU-300 is an optical multiplex unit for the BRC-300 high-quality pan and tilt camera. This box allows for uncompressed raw data from the camera to be sent up to 1500 feet. The unit will output Composite video standard. It also has 2 slots for optional video cards for SDI and Analog Component signals.
When the camera system includes the full function RM-BR300 joystick control panel, VISCA RS-422 or RS-232C cables can be connected to the multiplex unit. The control data is sent the other way through the BRU-300 to the cameras.
