It's amazing how good this amp sounds. Even sticking an SM57 in front of it sounds good when recorded (well, decent enough).
Great, fun, little amp, that can actually be used for practice.

Comments about Roland 2W, 2Way Guitar Amplifier:
I use mine for practice in my living room. The cube has enough quality to give me a good idea of what my guitars will sound like when piped though my 100 watt amp.

Comments about Roland 2W, 2Way Guitar Amplifier:
Way above expectations for the price payed. I use it on stage as a mont. I had to modify the Head set output to leave the speaker on. I use this to feed the house PA. It needs a line out! Sounds great thu house system. A OFF/ON foot switch for EFX would be good. Hard to believe 2 watts produce this much volumn.

I found the Roland AMP to be what I expected. It is compact and has all the features I need. For me it was a good starter AMP.

Comments about Roland 2W, 2Way Guitar Amplifier:
I bought this amp to replace a 1993 Crate GX130C (2x12, 65W) -- I didn't need something that big anymore, but still wanted to have a good sounding amp to rock out on my own. I'd read many positive reviews online, and a few friends recommended it as well, so I felt confident buying one.
After getting it and playing with it for a while, all I can say is -- WOW!!! I'm amazed at the quality and volume of this amp, and the variety of amp sounds and effects it has are great. I've only had for about a week now, but I'd highly recommend it.

I use this amp for my nataive am style flute and the sound is like being in great hall. Its great for the small venus I play and the fact that its run on batteries makes all the better. the only problem is that I did't buy one sooner. well worth the price

Comments about Roland 2W, 2Way Guitar Amplifier:
I have a Les Paul guitar. I do a lot of home recording. I bought the cube to be able to easily work on ideas/practice without running through my computer and with effects available. This little amp is indeed worth the money. For a small unit, the volume is outstanding. In fact I can envision using this at a small gig I play every month. The various effects are all credible sounding. And the different amps are excellent. Again, this is all in the context of a small $100+ amp (heck one spends that much on a night out to dinner). It is easy to switch from one amp setting to the next and quickly change effects. All of that plus being battery operated for a play anywhere amp. Loud bass notes do distort a bit, depending on the volume. But that is to be expected with such a small speaker. By the way I have also play my Ovation Acoustic-Electric through this amp. Nice...
