This was a perfect fit as a replacement for the lost spike on my Gitzo 2220 Tripod. These come loose easily and disappear unless you apply loc-tite to all 3 spikes.

ALWAYS utilize a couple drops of Blue LOCTITE when mounting foot or head accessories on monopods and tripods.The large rubber shoe quickly wore a hole in itself after only a few months of use and normally would not mention this but the kit was [$] when purchased this past January. I expected more from a product sporting the Gitzo name.

It screws on easy, great support and stable, the rubber is a batter quality that the one that comes with a monopod. The reason that I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because I lost mine and it is because I used the seal that came with it, it seams to me that the shoe sits in batter and secure with out the seal, unfortunately with the seal it gets loose quickly, few times I head to tided it doing just one outdoor session, on the second outing I just lost it. I went and I bought another one, but now I don't use a seal and it sits in right.
