Using the wire clip to attach the Sennheiser wireless receiver onto the shoemount is solid. Nothing wiggles. Finally, my Sennheiser receiver has a home on my XDCam EX3.
Money well spent.

If you need this, there's not much out there that's like it. Seems like I could put it together at a hardware store for a fraction of the price. I got this as a solution for mounting the Tascam DR-100 to tripod attachments. The one that comes on the tascam is very weak, so this one will be applied with epoxy and velcro from a quick buy firm on/off solution.

I have several Sennheiser evolution wireless receivers, the clips attach to this adapter perfectly & securely. Keeps the receiver up top and horizontal so it's not an easy target to accidentally knock off. Will be ordering one for each receiver. Like other reviewers, I'm dumbfounded that these are not included or were not offered as a accessory when I bought the wireless system. Yes they are plastic, metal would have been better but for this price having an extra isn't an issue. If you have a different wireless receiver you could easily velcro it onto this adapter.

PERFECT for mounting a wireless receiver on camera shoe-mount using velcro and still looking very professional. Otherwise you got to spend hundrents on a mounting system which will not improve the quality of your recordings. Why spend the extra cash when this little gadget does the trick? I use it to mount my $700 Audio Technica wireless receiver and it works just fine.

I use this to mount a Sennheiser Wireless Receiver to my Sony EX-3 & other cameras. Its lite weight and compact. The only thing I didn't like was its hard to get the Sennheiser belt clip opened up enough to slide all the way on it. Once on, its exactly what I need.

Without this item, my lavelier mic became relatively useless for my purposes. So it's wonderful to know that a company like B&H not only stocks the initial lavelier Mic kit, but almost all of the individual parts, no matter how insignificant, for replacement.

I bought this to mount a wireless receiver to my DVX100 by the shoe mount. I used velcro to attach the receiver to the plate. Unfortunately the plate is not smooth to allow complete adhesion of the Velcro. Unable to reverse to the smooth side of the plate as the hotshoe mount screw is not long enough. That said, I did achieve a satisfactory result.

Ultimately, it holds the mic fairly well. However, as one of the other reviewers stated, it should be made of metal & not plastic. If you want to mount it to a camera, unfortunately you must have this.

Got this because I got tired of my Samson wireless receiver, with no shoe mount,dangling from my camera. It's cheap, but it works. Best way to attach wireless is with some velcro. Keep in mind that if you have only one shoe mount thread and need to use this as well as a light, you're SOL.-That however has nothing to do with the performance of this product. It's just a heads up-obvious, but you might not think about it.

Securely holds the receiver on the camera. It does exactly what it was made for but I'd like to see a sturdier version made from aluminum or thicker plastic. This one replaces the original that came with the receiver and cracked after 8-10 uses.
