The Bose RC-18S incorporates a powerful RF Field Frequency, capable of transmitting RF signals through your walls and floors, and get this; you don't even have to aim the remote and your system.
In addition, the RC-18S offers the ability to operate additional Bose powered stereo speakers or Lifestyle SA-1, 2, or 3 stereo amplifiers, or control an additional sound source (AM/FM tuner, CD, video) in a second listening area.
