Comments about Whirlwind pcDI Stereo Direct Box:
The Whirlwind PCDI unit is used to eliminate ground noise from the laptop pc to my PA system. As soon as I plugged it in and switched the ground lift on, NO NOISE.

Comments about Whirlwind pcDI Stereo Direct Box:
My video company works in theaters and music venues quite a bit. The PCDI box is the perfect tool to pull a record feed from their board. It allows me to use XLR cables to make the long run to wherever my mixing station may be set up. The ability to lift the ground, add a pad, and switch to mono or stereo is great. I also use one of these when I send audio to the "House" ensuring that they get a nice balanced feed free from ground hum. A couple of these should be part of anyones kit who interfaces with professional sound boards.
