Tasco 2.5-10x42 Target & Varmint Riflescope with Adjustable Objective & Mil Dot Reticle (Black)

The Tasco 2.5-10x42 Target & Varmint Riflescope presents a great value to the novice and the seasoned shooter. This riflescope features multicoated optics, and a Mil-Dot style reticle. Parallax correction can be managed easily via the adjustable objective lens. The 2.5-10x magnification range offers both a wide field of view, and the ability to dial up the power for longer range target acquisition.
To use a riflescope with your firearm, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.

Does all I can expect for a rimfire rifle scope. Be sure and get high rings as the 42 mm objective needs them to clear the barrel on many rifles.

Use it for target shooting mostly.
Good optics for such a low price.
Hard to get the rings to fit it properly. Finally had to grind out the ring bedding to get it to fit properly.

I've looked through it plenty, but haven't sent off a single bullet just yet.
The only thing I wish I would've researched more-so is what size rings to buy for a 42mm scope. I can't get the thing to sit on the ones I have without touching the barrel of my .22, so now I'm having difficulties finding rings to fit it.
The piece itself is great, solid design, and a great price. I've read that it holds true for a good length of time without needing to be re-sighted. I can't wait to get it going properly.
