The Plossl 40.0mm eyepiece is a venerable "entry level" classic amongst Tele Vue eyepieces. It is characterized by having a super sharp, relatively narrow 43° apparent field of view with sufficient eye relief. It is lightweight for its focal length and ideally suited for work in Tele Vue's Bino Vue Stereo Binocular Viewer.
