It may sound silly, but it is quite hard to find the sun with a telescope. You can't dare risk a direct look. The Sol Searcher functions as a projector, with its aperture acting as a pinhole to image the sun towards the eyepiece. You actually look away from the sun, at the translucent screen, to find the sun. Completely safe and easily aligned to your scope.

You have to buy the bracket specific for your telescope if is not televue.
But I used velcro instead.
