The sewing quality left a bit to be desired at this price, since I ended up modifying it that did not really matter in the end. I would have liked to see two additional dividers that fit the width of the case to give some additional layout options but there is only one for the length of the case.

I have an older 1510 Case that originally had the per-scored foam which didn't work very well with continued use and it also doesn't allow for re-configuring the space. I replaced the foam with the 1515 divider set and am very pleased with the added flexibility & added space it gave me. I now have (2) pro bodies, (3) lenses including a 70-200 f2.8 and lots of accessories and filters well organized in this "carry on" case. I couldn't be happier.

I bought this to repurpose an existing 1510 case. I was sort of puzzled about how to fit the square corners into the wheel wells of the case until I simply pushed in with my finger, and thus collapsed the padding, and it fit!

I have more equipment than cases, and I only use a Pelican case when I need to travel. Now that I have it, I am wondering why I did not buy the case with the Divider set to start with.

For me, this is much better then the foam insert. I change gear setups depending on the shoot and this is much more flexible.

WHile I did lose some internal space for the padding, the contents now stay organized with protection when this case is traveling. I carry hard drives and audio interfaces in this case, and can now rest easier knowing there is even more protection.

great product--allows you to organize and protect your gear without the permanent nature of pick and pluck--the one i got is actually black, but that doesnt matter. the only problem is that there is not a cutaway for where the wheels stick out inside the 1510 case, but it is not a big deal at all--it still fits fine

We used this to repurpose a case that we used for shipping. The case travelled to 40 different offices over a year. Once it came back, we slipped in the padded divider set and put it to use as a photographer's kit. This is our second setup like this and it is very versatile.

I bought this to replace the pick an pluck foam on the 1510 travel case.
it fits in OK but where the wheels are internally it of course doesnt fit too well, ie it sticks up about 30mm at that end. this is kind of OK as it is flexible but ideally it would be slightly adjust with a cut away to allow for the wheels.

I would still buy it but not 100% happy.

We have been using our Pelican case with the foam for about 5 years now and it held up great. I never worried about our gear at all. The case fell out of the back of the car on more than one occasion and we never even thought to stop and make sure everything was ok. We just had the confidence that the case it its job and we were never disappointed. We recently just ordered the padded dividers for the ease of changeability. As we are upgrading all of our lenses to L lenses we are changing things and switching out our gear. It just makes more sense to be able to rearrange more frequently. Have had no major incidents but I can assure you that I will be checking my gear next time the case falls out of the back of the car. The dividers just don't have the same custom fit as the foam.

Traveling with my camera gear was a real pain until I purchased the 1510 pelican case. I first got the case with the foam insert... mistake. It lasted one trip and was soon falling apart.. Since then I got the 1515 divider and it is perfect.

Stellar product. perfect for all my camera gear, It can be a little on the heavy side but that's what the wheels are for. I think I'm going to buy another one for my other case. Very happy.

I own the Pelican 1550 and got foam inserts when I purchased it. Being a pro photographer I thought it would work best but these dividers work so much better.

The eggshell top comes with the pack which is the only place foam has any place in these cases unless you love plucking foam and limiting flexibility.

The dividers are easily installed and easily moved. They are also flexible so you can "stuff" things in them rather than having to be exact.

Buy a moisture pack to keep the inside dry.

Absolutely Stellar. perfect for toting camera gear around in this case, which is what i'm using it for. the only problem is that i wish there were a few extra dividers. i find i have more small things and fewer large ones in this case.

Military photojournalist, use 1510 for camera kit. Divider kit is much better than the foam that comes with the case.
