The Elmo UN43H is a high performance miniature color video camera for a variety of industrial and surveillance purposes. The camera accepts several special 12-mm micro-mount lenses, some of which are specifically for high magnification applications like machine vision. The camera head connects to a dedicated camera control unit- the CC431E, via camera cables of varying lengths. The cables range from just over 6 feet to almost 100 feet in length. The CCU controls features like shutter and iris control, gamma correction, field accumulation mode for super low light, and more. The CCU and those camera cables are required must be purchased separately.
The UN43H industrial micro-camera outputs some 470 horizontal lines. It works in a wide range of lighting conditions all the way down to 3.5 Lux. The CCU has functions like backlight compensation and electronic shutter to compensate for bright lighting sources.
Match a Lens to Your Application
The camera accepts a total of 7 special micro-mount lenses. The widest, a 3-mm f/2.0 achieves a horizontal angle of 91° and 69° vertical. This lens has a minimum object distance of 20 mm or about .8 inches. The 18-mm lens achieves 15.5° H and 11.6° V with a MOD of 230mm or just over 9 inches. The three 26-mm lenses are specifically for robotics and machine vision, are designed for macro imagery and supply varying degrees of magnification.
In addition to a lens, you cannot utilize this miniature camera head without a control unit and camera cable. Cables are available in 2, 3, 5, 12, 20 and 30-meter lengths. The CC431E CCU controls various video parameters and supplies video output to monitors and recorders.
