Comments about Matthews Junior Steel Wheeled Stand:
I am so happy I got this stand. Its strong, solid and built like a brick... you know. I wanted a rolling stand that I could rely on and not have to question its durability. Its a large stand, and quite heavy to travel with, but in lieu of what I was using on location, this is well worth the shlep. I can fit it into the tenba tri pak 70 inch bag along with an avenger boom and still have room to spare. Solid knobs, smooth extension, heavy duty wheels. This is one of those things you buy once and have it forever, not some chintsy aluminum stand that is light, this is all steel. Ive loaded it up with sandbags and had it up about 12 feet with an 7 ft boom hanging a 1200 watt mono light and 5 foot softbox on it and it just was solid.

Comments about Matthews Junior Steel Wheeled Stand:
I bought this stand to replace some lighter weight air cushioned stands I had been using that just werent very confidence inspiring. Once I got this stand set up and running, I knew it was a good investment. Its solid, smooth, and sturdy. Quality piece for sure, I have no regrets. I will def feel better hanging strobes with big modifiers on boom arms out over subjects on shoots now.
The construction is sturdy, heavy steel tubing, sure it weighs more, but id rather have the strength and the weight rather than some chintsy thing flopping around. The handles are smooth and solid and lock tight. the wheels and excellent and roll smooth and lock strong. the legs open smooth and effortlessly. Its a good looking stand to boot. Not very compact, but thats not to be expected. i also got the tenba 70 inch duffel to be able to transport the stand on location and the stand fits fine in there along with the boom arm and still has room for stuff.
Im satisfied with the investment in this stand
